Happy 2009...

Our family would like to wish you and your family a wonderful, safe, and happy 2009. I feel like we just started 2008 and now we are celebrating 2009. This year has been a very good year for our family. Of course we had a few ups and down, but most of them have been good. We have decided to start a blog so we can share special moments with our friends and family. This is a picture that we took of my brother Jakob, my niece Trinity, Kamryn and Brittni.

Brittni is now 8 years old and is doing really well. She is currently in the third grade and loves to read and to play on the computer. Brittni also loves to paint and scrapbook. She is in cheer and was just recently in the Veterans Day Parade and the Christmas Parade. Last month Brittni was “star student” of the month. She is such a caring child and truly wants the best for all.

Kamryn is doing really well. Kamryn is three years old and is my little girly-girl. She loves to dress-up like a princess and at times loves to act like a “rocker chick.” Kamryn loves reading books and playing with puzzles. Every morning before school she yells from the back seat, “mommy we go to starbucks!” I really think I started a bad habit with her. She is such a sweet child and is growing up so big.

Jason is doing great. The Navy has been keeping him really busy this year. We were really lucky to have him home for this entire year. The USS Bunker Hill was taken out of the water to get fixed. During that time, Jason attended two schools and did really well in both of them. He graduated top of his class. Jason is currently an MR1 aboard his ship. On his free time he enjoys riding both his dirt bike and his street bike.

I am doing fine myself. In September I graduated from Kaplan University with Honors. My graduation is coming up in Miami, Florida. I graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies-Early Childhood Development. I am currently working again for VIP Tots in Hemet as a home program special needs teacher for children under three. I love being a “mommy” and a Navy wife. I love my family with all my heart and feel very blessed for all the wonderful experiences we have together.

We wish everyone a wonderful 2009!

Love, The Putney Family
